Very beneficial reading material.
Very repeditive...some good points, but was said in the first few chapters. I lost interest but forced myself to finish it because it was for a book club.

This book like any Ray C. Stedman's books is great. It will really challenge the way you think of church. The first read through you're going to think our church will never do this. Read it again and you'll begin to understand his vision better and then begin to believe changes like this truly begin with you!
We live in challenging times on a personal level as well as a corporate one. The enemy knows his time is running out so he has declared all out war on individuals, families, and the church. This book brings us back to where and why the original church began, God's initial instructions and the original mission of the church from the Book of Ephesians. I recommend this book to all believers who find themselves attending a Body of Christ that is on the fast track to becoming irrelevant. The teachings of Ray Stedman are worth their weight in gold and will fulfill God's purpose for them until we are all walking the streets of gold in HEAVEN.
